Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST3+) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for an evening locum shift at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a 4-hour evening shift on 3rd November 2026 (17:00–21:00), paying £50/hr assignment rate.
You will be working within the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department, providing medical cover as part of the on-call rota. Duties include assessment and management of acute gynaecological presentations, labour ward cover, management of obstetric emergencies, and supporting the wider O&G team. The department handles a full range of obstetric and gynaecological cases across the Southern Trust catchment area.
Candidates must be registered at ST3 level or above, hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, and have the right to work in the UK. Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance and professional indemnity insurance are required. Experience in acute obstetric and gynaecological care is essential.
