Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST3 level) for an evening locum shift in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This shift covers 2nd October 2026, 17:00–21:00.
You will provide registrar-level O&G cover, managing the labour ward, attending acute gynaecological presentations, and supporting the on-call team. Craigavon Area Hospital is a busy maternity unit handling a high volume of deliveries and acute gynaecological admissions. The role requires confidence in managing obstetric emergencies, performing instrumental deliveries, and conducting independent ward rounds.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, have a right to work in the UK, and hold current DBS/AccessNI clearance. ST3+ level experience in O&G is required. UK experience and familiarity with Encompass electronic health records is preferred for ad hoc bookings. The £50/hr assignment rate applies.
