Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST3 level) for ad hoc O&G locum shifts at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple evening and night shifts are available from October to December 2026 including: 25th October (09:00–21:00), 3rd November (17:00–21:00), 15th November night (20:30–09:00), 20th November night (20:30–09:00), and 30th November night (20:30–09:00).
The role involves registrar-level cover for the O&G department, managing the labour ward, attending acute gynaecological presentations, and supporting the on-call team. Craigavon Area Hospital is a major maternity unit within the Southern HSC Trust and handles a high volume of deliveries. Night shifts require confidence in independent obstetric emergency management including emergency caesarean sections and instrumental deliveries.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, have a right to work in the UK, and hold current DBS/AccessNI clearance. ST3+ level experience in O&G is essential. UK experience and familiarity with Encompass electronic health records is preferred. The £50/hr assignment rate applies.
