Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST3+) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for an overnight locum shift at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a night shift on 30th November 2026 (20:30–09:00), paying £50/hr assignment rate.
You will be providing overnight obstetric and gynaecological cover within the O&G department. Responsibilities include labour ward management, assessment of acute gynaecological admissions, management of obstetric emergencies, and liaising with the on-call consultant. The department operates a busy acute service across the Southern Trust catchment area.
Candidates must be registered at ST3 level or above, hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, and have the right to work in the UK. Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance and professional indemnity insurance are required. Experience in managing obstetric emergencies and acute gynaecological presentations independently is essential.
