Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for an ongoing locum position at Daisy Hill Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a vacant substantive post available for immediate start.
As a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Daisy Hill Hospital, you will provide senior clinical leadership across the maternity and gynaecology services. The role includes antenatal clinic sessions, labour ward cover, elective and emergency operative obstetrics, and outpatient gynaecology. You must be competent in performing routine obstetric ultrasound including biometry (head circumference, abdominal circumference, femur length) and umbilical artery Dopplers as part of the antenatal clinic workload.
Daisy Hill Hospital is a key maternity site within the Southern HSC Trust. The department provides a full range of obstetric and gynaecological services to the Newry and South Armagh catchment. The successful candidate will work within a team of consultant colleagues and junior medical staff.
Candidates must hold GMC Specialist Registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, have a right to work in the UK, and hold current DBS/AccessNI clearance. Two references dated within 6 months are required, covering 12 months of UK experience at consultant grade. Annual leave requirements should be presented upon starting. The £100/hr assignment rate applies.
