Urology locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £100–£110/hr assignment rate.

Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Locum Consultant Urologist for Belfast City Hospital within Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This position starts 3rd August 2026 for an initial 2-month assignment, working Monday to Friday with no on-call commitment.

The successful candidate will provide consultant-level urological services including outpatient clinics, inpatient management, and surgical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant urologist seeking a structured weekday role without out-of-hours responsibilities.

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' NHS experience at consultant grade. Requirements include valid GMC registration with licence to practise, specialist registration in Urology, right to work in the UK, up-to-date AccessNI clearance (DBS is not sufficient for Northern Ireland), professional indemnity insurance, updated CV with explained employment gaps, minimum 2 recent specialty-appropriate references, and completion of mandatory training modules including ALS/ILS, infection control, safeguarding, and blood transfusion competencies.
