Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is seeking a Core Trainee or Foundation Year 2 doctor for a locum shift in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This shift covers Sunday 6th September 2026, from 22:00 to 08:30, providing overnight emergency care.
The Mater ED is a busy acute emergency department within BHSCT, managing a wide range of presentations including trauma, acute medical emergencies, and unscheduled care. You will work as part of the on-call medical team, triaging and managing patients presenting to the department, performing initial assessments, ordering investigations, and initiating treatment plans under senior supervision.
This role requires a doctor at CT or FY2 level with a valid GMC registration and licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance. Experience in emergency medicine or acute medical settings is desirable.
