The Medicine department at Craigavon Area Hospital requires an FY2-level doctor to cover day shifts in Elderly Care across September 2026. This is a series of weekday day shifts (09:00–17:00) providing ward-based medical cover in the Geriatric Medicine department.
Shift dates include: 1st–18th September 2026 (weekdays, Monday to Friday). The role involves managing elderly medical inpatients, conducting ward rounds, reviewing investigations, discharge planning, and liaising with the multidisciplinary team including therapists and social workers.
You will work as part of the Dir Medicine & Unscheduled Care division, supporting the geriatric medicine consultants and providing day-to-day medical management of the ward.
