Grayscale Medical is seeking an experienced Consultant in Geriatric Medicine (Care of the Elderly) for a locum assignment with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This position is available immediately for an initial 3-month period at a £100/hr assignment rate.
The role involves providing consultant-level care for elderly patients across Belfast HSC Trust facilities. The successful candidate will lead clinical decision-making, manage complex multimorbidity presentations, and support the wider multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality geriatric care. Encompass training is essential for this placement.
All candidates must be fully compliant with the Regional Framework requirements. This includes valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of two recent professional references. An accurate LD1 form must also be provided. A minimum of six months' NHS/HSC experience at consultant grade is expected.
