Grayscale Medical is seeking a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine / Care of the Elderly for a 3-month locum assignment with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, starting as soon as possible.
This role provides consultant-level clinical leadership for elderly care services within the Belfast Trust. The successful candidate will manage a complex geriatric medicine caseload, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to older patients. Encompass training is listed as essential criteria, and an accurately completed LD1 form must be forwarded with all submissions.
The trust requires all files to be fully compliant with the regional framework. This is a £100/hr assignment rate position for consultants with substantive experience in geriatric medicine, elderly care rehabilitation, or acute medicine of the elderly.
Requirements include full GMC registration with licence to practise, entry on the Specialist Register for Geriatric Medicine, right to work in the UK, and AccessNI clearance. Professional indemnity insurance and two recent professional references are required. Experience in Northern Ireland HSC settings is desirable.
