Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Doctor (Middle Grade) to provide locum Emergency Medicine cover at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH) Emergency Department, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a shift-based locum role at £60/hr assignment rate, with multiple shifts available from September to October 2026.
The MIH ED serves North Belfast and surrounding communities, handling a broad range of emergency presentations. As a middle grade doctor, you will lead clinical decision-making, manage undifferentiated acute patients, supervise junior colleagues, and work closely with the senior medical team. The department offers a varied caseload across trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies.

This is a regular locum opportunity suited to experienced middle grade doctors looking for consistent shift work in a supportive acute care environment.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise at Specialty Doctor, SAS, or equivalent middle grade level. Right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and experience in emergency and acute medicine are essential.
