Core Trainee - Emergency Medicine (RVH, November)

Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.

Locum Core Trainee (CT/F2/IMT/ST/GP level) required in the Emergency Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple shifts available throughout November 2026 at an assignment rate of £50/hr.

The RVH ED has ongoing staffing requirements at CT/F2 level covering a mix of day shifts (08:00–17:00), evening shifts (16:00–00:00), and night shifts (22:00–08:30). Shifts are available on both weekdays and weekends.

You will be working as part of the ED team at one of Northern Ireland's busiest emergency departments, assessing and managing undifferentiated acute presentations, liaising with specialty teams, and contributing to the acute medical take. The RVH ED is a major trauma centre serving the Belfast Trust population.

Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, up-to-date AccessNI clearance, right to work in the UK, and a minimum of two professional references. Previous ED experience is desirable.
