Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Doctor for Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Emergency Department middle-grade cover at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH), part of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a locum assignment at £60/hr assignment rate, with multiple shifts available from late August through to late October 2026.
You will work within the ED and SDEC unit at one of Northern Ireland's busiest Emergency Departments. The RVH ED sees a high volume of acute presentations, and the SDEC pathway manages patients who require same-day assessment, investigation, and treatment without overnight admission. Shifts include daytime, evening, and overnight patterns across weekdays and weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced middle-grade doctors comfortable with autonomous decision-making in an acute unscheduled care setting.
