Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee (CT1) in Emergency Medicine for a locum position at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, part of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. This role offers an assignment rate of £50 per hour.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CT1-level doctor to gain hands-on emergency medicine experience within one of Northern Ireland's busiest acute hospital settings. Causeway Hospital provides a full range of emergency and acute medical services to the North Coast population. The Emergency Department sees a varied case mix including trauma, medical emergencies, paediatric presentations, and minor injuries. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside senior emergency medicine clinicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
As a Core Trainee in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for the initial assessment, investigation, and management of patients presenting to the department. You will participate in resuscitation scenarios, manage acute medical and surgical presentations, and develop your procedural skills under supervision. There may be on-call commitments depending on the rota pattern.
