Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting Specialty Trainee (ST3+) doctors for locum shifts in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Shifts are available from mid-October through late November 2026, including day shifts (08:00–16:00, 13:00–21:00) and evening shifts (14:00–22:00) across weekdays and weekends.
The MIH Emergency Department provides acute unscheduled care to the North Belfast population. As an ST3+ locum, you will be expected to manage a varied caseload of emergency presentations, lead the shop floor during busy periods, provide clinical decision-making for complex patients, and support junior doctors. The department handles medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies within a close-knit team environment.
Multiple shifts are available across the October–November period — specific dates and times confirmed at booking. Flexible single-shift and multi-shift bookings available.
