Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Locum Core Trainee (CT/F2/ST/GP level) required for the Emergency Departments at the Royal Victoria Hospital and Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. £50/hr assignment rate.
Multiple shift patterns available across both sites including day shifts (08:00-17:00), evening/late shifts (16:00-00:00, 18:00-02:00), and night shifts (22:00-08:30). Weekend and bank holiday shifts available throughout August 2026.
The role involves working in one of Northern Ireland's busiest Emergency Departments at the RVH (a major trauma centre) and the MIH, managing acute medical and surgical presentations under senior supervision, performing initial assessments, ordering investigations, and initiating treatment plans. You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team providing 24/7 emergency care.
Requirements: CT1-3, FY2, or equivalent level, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and minimum 2 professional references. UK ED experience preferred.
