Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee (CT1) in Paediatrics for a locum position at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, within the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a CT1-level doctor to gain valuable paediatric experience in a busy district general hospital setting in Northern Ireland.
The role involves providing paediatric care across inpatient wards and the paediatric assessment unit. You will be working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, managing acute paediatric presentations, contributing to ward rounds, and participating in on-call rotas. Causeway Hospital serves a large catchment area across the north coast, offering exposure to a broad range of general paediatric conditions.
The assignment rate for this position is £50.00 per hour. Day shifts are available with a start date of 28 August 2026.
To be considered, you must hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise and have the right to work in the UK. A current DBS or AccessNI clearance is required, along with up-to-date occupational health screening, BLS certification, safeguarding training, and infection control compliance. A minimum of two professional references are needed. Previous experience in paediatrics at CT1 level or above is essential.
