Two locum Paediatrics ST3+ doctors required for a 3-month assignment in General Paediatrics at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children (RBHSC), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This position pays £50/hr assignment rate and involves working a full shift rota.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in Paediatrics at ST3+ level. You will be providing senior trainee-level cover on the general paediatric wards, managing acute admissions, and participating in the on-call rota. The RBHSC is the regional children's hospital for Northern Ireland, providing a wide range of general and specialist paediatric services.
Mandatory requirements include valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, minimum 2 professional references, completed LD1 form, full documentation pack, BMJ Hyponatraemia training, and all Right Patient Right Blood modules (Blood Components and Indications for Use, Safe Transfusion Practice, Consent for Transfusion) plus Competency 1 and Competency 4 practicals.
