Paediatrics locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is seeking an ST4+ Paediatric doctor with Neonatal experience for a full-rota locum assignment at the Royal Jubilee Maternity Service (RJMS) in Belfast. This position pays £50/hr assignment rate, starting immediately for an initial 1-month period with a view to extension.
You will join the Neonatal team on the full rota, covering days, long days, nights, and weekends. A minimum of 6 months UK experience in Neonates is required. The role involves managing sick and premature neonates, attending deliveries, and participating in the on-call rota. You must adhere to departmental rota shifts, swaps, and leave processes.
Additional mandatory training requirements for this post include: BMJ Hyponatraemia, Right Patient Right Blood modules (Blood Components and Indications for Use, Safe Transfusion Practice, Consent for Transfusion), and Right Patient Right Blood Practical Competencies 1 and 4.
Requirements: GMC registration with licence to practise, ST4+ level or equivalent in Paediatrics/Neonates, minimum 6 months UK Neonatal experience, right to work in the UK, DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and 2 professional references.
