Orthopaedics locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Ad hoc daytime trauma and orthopaedics cover at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This locum shift runs from 07:00 to 18:00, requiring an ST3+ registrar to provide cover across the trauma and orthopaedic department.
The registrar will participate in elective and emergency orthopaedic theatre lists, carry out ward rounds on trauma and elective orthopaedic patients, attend fracture clinic, and assess acute trauma presentations arriving through the emergency department. Craigavon Area Hospital is a major acute hospital serving the Southern HSC Trust area, with a busy trauma workload and established orthopaedic elective programme.
This position requires ST3+ training in Trauma and Orthopaedics, current GMC registration with a licence to practise, valid right to work in the United Kingdom, and up-to-date AccessNI clearance. The assignment rate is £50 per hour.
