Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for a locum shift at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is an evening shift on 27th November 2026, running from 17:00 to 21:00, at a competitive assignment rate of £50/hr.
You will be joining the O&G medical team within the Department of Surgery and Clinical Services. The role involves supporting the obstetric and gynaecology rota, managing admissions, attending to labour ward duties, and providing cover for acute gynaecological presentations. Craigavon Area Hospital is a major acute site serving the Southern Trust catchment with a busy maternity unit.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise at ST3 level or above in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with the right to work in the UK. Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of 2 professional references are required. ALSO/MRCOG qualification progress and experience in labour ward management are desirable.
