Geriatric Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — rate on application.
Locum Foundation Year 1 Doctor required for a Care of the Elderly shift at Belfast City Hospital, part of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is an evening shift on Monday 24th August 2026, 17:00–21:30.
The successful candidate will provide medical cover on the Care of the Elderly ward at BCH. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team managing acutely unwell elderly patients, carrying out assessments, medication reviews, and handover responsibilities during this twilight shift.
Candidates must be fully compliant with the Belfast HSC Trust framework. Mandatory training completion is essential. You must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, have right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance.
This position is suitable for doctors at Foundation Year 1 level with experience in general medicine or geriatric care settings.
