Locum Specialty Doctor (Staff Grade/Registrar level) required for the General Medicine department at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. £60/hr assignment rate.
Night shifts available (20:30-09:00) across weekends in August/September 2026 including Saturday 16 August, Saturday 23 August, and Saturday 31 August to 1 September. These are overnight on-call shifts providing senior medical cover for the hospital.
The role involves providing middle-grade medical cover overnight, managing acute medical admissions, reviewing deteriorating patients, making clinical decisions on investigation and management plans, and supporting junior doctors. You will be the senior decision-maker on-site during out-of-hours with consultant telephone support available.
Requirements: Specialty Doctor, Staff Grade, or equivalent level in General Medicine, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and minimum 2 professional references.
