Locum Core Trainee (CT/F2/IMT/ST/GP level) required for the Medicine department at the Royal Victoria Hospital and Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. £50/hr assignment rate.
Shifts available include day shifts (09:00-17:00), night shifts (20:30-08:30), and additional weekend respiratory ward rounds (08:00-14:00) and AMU weekend cover. Positions span from August to October 2026 across both RVH and MIH sites.
The role involves managing acute medical admissions on the Acute Medical Unit, providing general medical ward care, and contributing to the respiratory weekend rota. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team managing patients with a range of medical conditions including respiratory disease, cardiology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. There is also the opportunity to cover F1-level night shifts at enhanced core trainee rates.
Requirements: CT1-3, FY2, IMT, or equivalent level, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and minimum 2 professional references. UK medical experience required.
