General Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Locum Core Trainee required for ongoing Saturday morning weekend cover in the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. This is a recurring weekend assignment running from August to October 2026, with shifts every Saturday 08:00–14:00.
The AMU at the RVH is a busy acute admissions unit handling unscheduled medical presentations across all specialties. You will be responsible for clerking new admissions, managing acutely unwell patients, liaising with specialty teams, and supporting safe weekend handover.
This role suits an F2, Core Trainee, IMT, or ST-level doctor with experience in acute general medicine. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under consultant supervision.
