Locum Foundation Year 2 Doctor required for the General Medicine department at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. £50/hr assignment rate.
Day shifts available (09:00-17:00 and 17:00-21:00) from 11-14 August 2026 covering both the general medicine ward and the 3 North medical ward (Endocrinology and Diabetes). This is ward-based medical cover at SHO level.
The role involves providing day-to-day medical ward care, clerking new admissions, reviewing investigation results, updating management plans, requesting specialist input, preparing patients for discharge, and attending ward rounds. You will work within a supportive team with registrar and consultant supervision available.
Requirements: FY2 or equivalent level, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and minimum 2 professional references. UK experience required for short-term locum bookings.
