Locum Foundation Year 2 Doctor required for an evening shift in General Internal Medicine at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This shift covers 17:00-21:30 within the Medicine and Unscheduled Care directorate.
The role involves supporting the acute medical team with evening admissions, clerking patients referred from the Emergency Department and GPs, requesting and reviewing investigations, and initiating management plans under the supervision of the senior medical registrar. The department covers a full spectrum of general medical presentations.
Requirements: GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, completion of Foundation Year 1 competencies, BLS certification, and minimum 2 professional references.
