Psychiatry locum doctor position at Northern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is seeking a CT1-level doctor for a Crisis Resolution Home Treatment (CRHT) locum post at Antrim Area Hospital, part of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
The CRHT team provides intensive home-based treatment as an alternative to inpatient admission for adults experiencing acute mental health crises. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team assessing, treating, and supporting patients in the community, with consultant psychiatrist supervision.
Key responsibilities include psychiatric assessment of patients in crisis, risk assessment and management planning, prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medication, liaising with GPs, community mental health teams, and inpatient services, and contributing to the on-call rota as required.
This is a day shift position. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise is essential. Previous experience in psychiatry or crisis work is desirable but not mandatory at CT1 level.
