Psychiatry locum doctor position at Western Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £100–£110/hr assignment rate.
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist required urgently at Lakeview Hospital, part of the Western Health and Social Care Trust. This is a 3-month assignment starting Monday 13th July 2026, with the possibility of extension. The role offers £100/hr assignment rate.
The successful candidate will provide consultant-level psychiatric care within the Lakeview inpatient unit, managing a caseload of patients with complex mental health presentations. The position requires Monday to Friday availability, working standard hours (9am-5pm, 40 hours per week). Preference will be given to doctors with Encompass training.
Requirements include valid GMC registration with licence to practise, full right to work in the UK, AccessNI clearance (mandatory for all locums in Northern Ireland), up-to-date CV and references, and professional indemnity insurance. Candidates must have been contacted in advance and be willing to work in Northern Ireland for the full engagement period.
