Oncology locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is seeking an F2/IMT level doctor to provide weekend and Monday cover in the Oncology department at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This urgent locum covers 26th–28th September 2026, working 09:00–17:00 daily to support the oncology rota.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of oncology inpatients, liaising with the on-call team, and supporting ward rounds. The department is looking specifically for doctors who have previously worked on the oncology rota or have familiarity with the service due to the short-notice nature of the booking. Knowledge of oncological emergencies, systemic anti-cancer therapy side effects, and palliative symptom management is advantageous.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, have a right to work in the UK, and hold current DBS/AccessNI clearance. F2 or IMT level experience is required, with preference given to those with prior oncology rotation experience. The £50/hr assignment rate applies.
