Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (Middle Grade/Registrar) for Obstetrics & Gynaecology on-call cover at Altnagelvin Hospital, Londonderry, part of Western Health and Social Care Trust. This is a locum shift at £50/hr assignment rate on the night of Sunday 30th August into Monday 31st August 2026 (21:00–09:00).
You will provide overnight on-call O&G registrar cover at Altnagelvin Hospital. Responsibilities include managing labour ward, attending obstetric emergencies, reviewing gynaecological admissions, and providing middle-grade decision-making overnight. Altnagelvin is the main acute hospital for the north-west of Northern Ireland and has a busy maternity unit. The trust requires candidates to have completed HSE Encompass training. AccessNI clearance is mandatory for all locum placements.
