Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Locum Specialty Trainee required for Obstetrics & Gynaecology night cover at Daisy Hill Hospital, part of Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a night shift on 3rd September 2026, 21:00–09:15.
The successful candidate will provide overnight medical cover in the O&G department at Daisy Hill Hospital. Duties include managing labour ward presentations, obstetric emergencies, gynaecological admissions, and providing support to midwifery staff during the night. You will be expected to escalate appropriately to the on-call Consultant.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise and be working at ST1 level or above in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance are required. Two professional references must be provided.
