Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee or Foundation Year 2 Doctor for a locum day shift in General Surgery at Belfast City Hospital, part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This shift is on Friday 16th October 2026, 08:00–18:00, at the £50/hr assignment rate.
Belfast City Hospital provides a wide range of surgical services within the Belfast HSC Trust. You will be supporting the general surgical team with ward duties, assisting in theatre, managing surgical admissions, and providing continuity of care for post-operative patients. The role requires competence in the assessment of acute surgical presentations and routine ward management.
Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of 2 professional references. CT1-3 or F2-level doctors with general surgical experience are encouraged to apply.
