Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant in General Surgery for a locum assignment at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, part of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. This position is available from November 2026 to February 2027, with an assignment rate of £100 per hour.
In this General Surgery locum role, you will deliver consultant-level care across the hospital's surgical services, managing both elective and acute general surgery cases. Responsibilities include leading surgical lists, conducting outpatient clinics, supervising trainees, and contributing to the on-call rota. Causeway Hospital provides a broad range of general surgical services to the local population across the Northern Trust area.
Applicants must hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise and demonstrate significant experience at Consultant grade in General Surgery. Right to work in the UK, current DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and at least two professional references are required.
