Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee (CT1) doctor for a General Medicine locum position at Downe Hospital, Downpatrick, within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior doctor seeking acute medical experience in a busy district general hospital setting in Northern Ireland.
You will join the General Medicine department at Downe Hospital, providing care across acute medical admissions, ward rounds, and outpatient clinics. The role involves assessment and management of acutely unwell medical patients, clerking admissions, requesting and interpreting investigations, liaising with specialty teams, and contributing to the medical on-call rota. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under consultant supervision.
This position offers an assignment rate of £50.00 per hour for day shifts.
