Core Trainee - General Medicine (Haematology/Nephrology)

General Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.

Locum Core Trainee (SHO level) required for Haematology/Nephrology long day cover at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Shift on 10th September 2026, working 09:00–21:30 at an assignment rate of £50/hr.

These are vacant long shifts on the Haematology/Nephrology ward requiring SHO-level cover. You will be responsible for ward rounds, managing inpatients under the haematology and nephrology teams, reviewing blood results, managing fluid balance and dialysis patients, and escalating to the registrar as appropriate.

Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with a licence to practise, up-to-date AccessNI clearance, right to work in the UK, and a minimum of two professional references. Experience in haematology, nephrology, or general medicine is desirable.
