ENT Specialty Trainee Night Shift - Craigavon Area Hospital

Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST3) in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) for an overnight locum shift at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

The assignment rate is £50/hr. This night shift runs from 17:00 to 08:30 the following morning, providing essential ENT on-call cover within the Surgery and Clinical Services directorate.

Role Details

You will provide overnight ENT cover for the hospital, managing emergency ENT presentations and supporting the wider surgical team. Responsibilities include:

Assessment and management of emergency ENT admissions
On-call ENT cover including epistaxis management, peritonsillar abscess drainage, and airway emergencies
Liaison with anaesthetics and critical care teams as required
Supervision of any junior staff on the ENT rota overnight

Requirements

ST3-level experience in ENT surgery
Valid GMC registration with licence to practise
Right to work in the UK
Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance
Minimum 2 professional references
Professional indemnity insurance
