Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Locum Consultant in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) for a position at Antrim Area Hospital, part of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland.
This is a day shift locum opportunity running from October 2026 to January 2027, offering an assignment rate of £100 per hour. The role is based within the ENT department at Antrim Area Hospital, one of the principal acute hospitals serving the Northern HSC Trust catchment area.
As a Consultant ENT locum, you will be expected to provide specialist-level clinical care across the full scope of ENT services. This includes outpatient clinics, inpatient ward management, and theatre lists covering procedures such as tonsillectomy, septoplasty, myringotomy, and microlaryngoscopy. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of ENT specialists, audiologists, and nursing staff, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Candidates should have substantial experience at Consultant level in ENT surgery, with the ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload. Experience within the HSC system in Northern Ireland is desirable but not essential.
