Locum Emergency Medicine Registrar required for an overnight shift at Altnagelvin Hospital Emergency Department, Western Health and Social Care Trust. This is an urgent night shift from 22:00 to 08:00 on 20th August 2026, paying £50/hr assignment rate.
The role requires an experienced Emergency Medicine doctor at ST3+ level who has previously worked in ED at Altnagelvin Hospital. Candidates must have completed HSE Encompass training, which is mandatory for this placement. You will be providing senior decision-making cover in a busy Emergency Department serving the North West region of Northern Ireland.
Requirements include valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date AccessNI clearance (mandatory for all Western Trust locums), professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of 2 professional references. Previous ED Altnagelvin experience is essential for this booking.
