Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Foundation Year 2 (FY2) Doctor for locum shifts in Emergency Medicine at Daisy Hill Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This assignment covers multiple shifts throughout October 2026, including evening, night, and day patterns across the A&E department.
The role involves working within the Accident & Emergency department under the Directorate of Medicine & Unscheduled Care. You will assess and manage undifferentiated emergency presentations, perform initial investigations, and work alongside senior emergency medicine clinicians. Shift patterns include 17:00–02:00, 13:00–22:00, 22:00–08:00, and 08:00–17:00 rotations, providing varied exposure across the full spectrum of emergency care.
Daisy Hill Hospital serves the Newry and South Down area and handles a high volume of acute presentations. This is an excellent opportunity for FY2 doctors looking to build emergency medicine experience in a busy district general hospital setting.
