Anaesthetics locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Locum Specialty Trainee (ST3+) required in Anaesthetics at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a night shift position paying £50/hr assignment rate.
The Anaesthetics department at Craigavon Area Hospital requires overnight locum cover from 20:30 to 09:15. You will provide anaesthetic services across the hospital, supporting emergency and elective surgical lists, obstetric anaesthesia, and critical care. The role involves independent on-call cover with consultant support available.
Candidates must be ST3+ level or equivalent in Anaesthetics with experience in general, obstetric, and emergency anaesthesia. Competence in airway management, regional anaesthesia, and critical care transfer is expected. Experience working within an HSC trust environment is advantageous.
Requirements: Valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, minimum 2 professional references, and current BLS/ILS certification.
