Grayscale Medical places anaesthetics locums across all five HSC Trusts — covering elective theatre lists, obstetric anaesthesia, ICU/critical care cover and pain management at hospitals including the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast City Hospital, Ulster Hospital, Antrim Area Hospital, Craigavon Area Hospital and Altnagelvin. Roles are available at Specialty Trainee/SAS and Consultant grades, with day, long-day, night and on-call patterns. NI anaesthetics locum assignment rates typically range from £60–£70/hr for ST3+/SAS grades to £100–£110/hr for Consultant sessions. All roles require full GMC registration with a licence to practise, an Enhanced AccessNI check, and relevant airway/ICU competencies; sub-specialty experience in obstetrics, cardiac or paediatric anaesthesia is in particular demand.
