Oncology locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is seeking a Haematology Registrar (ST3+ level) for a three-month locum assignment with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, starting immediately. This post pays £50/hr assignment rate at framework rates.
You will join the haematology department providing specialist registrar-level cover. The role involves managing inpatients with haematological conditions, providing on-call haematology advice, reviewing blood films, managing transfusion queries, and supporting the delivery of chemotherapy protocols. You will work alongside consultant haematologists and the wider multidisciplinary team. The Belfast Trust's haematology service covers a large catchment area and manages a broad case mix including malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, coagulation disorders, and haemato-oncology cases.

Candidates must hold ST3+ or equivalent grade, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, and the right to work in the UK. Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of two professional references are required. Experience in haematology at registrar level is essential.
