Grayscale Medical is sourcing a Specialty Trainee (ST3+) in General Surgery for a locum shift at Belfast City Hospital (BCH), part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a day shift on 3 October 2026, 08:00–20:00, at a £50/hr assignment rate.
The role requires a fully compliant LD1 doctor to provide surgical cover on the General Surgery rota at BCH. You will be expected to manage surgical admissions, assist in theatre, and provide ward-based care under the supervision of the consultant on call. The trust has specified that full compliance documentation is required prior to booking.
Requirements include GMC registration with a licence to practise, ST3+ level training in General Surgery or equivalent, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance.
