General Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (IMT3+/ST3+) for General Medicine at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH), Belfast, part of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a locum assignment at £50/hr assignment rate with shifts available from 31st August 2026 through to 29th January 2027.
You will provide specialist registrar cover across multiple medicine departments at the RVH, including the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Respiratory Medicine, and the general medical on-call rota. Shifts include daytime ward cover (08:00–16:00), evening on-call (14:00–00:00, 17:00–21:00), and overnight cover (20:30–08:30). The RVH is the largest acute hospital in Northern Ireland with a high-volume medical intake. This position covers weekend additional cover on AMU and Respiratory wards, as well as ongoing STR on-call commitments spanning the autumn and winter period. Contracted rates apply as per Belfast HSC Trust locum framework.
