General Medicine locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Locum Foundation Year 2 Doctor required for a night shift in General Medicine at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This role is within the Department of Medicine and Unscheduled Care, supporting the out-of-hours medical rota.
The shift runs from 21:00 on 28th September to 09:30 on 29th September 2026. You will provide overnight medical cover including managing acute admissions, responding to deteriorating patients, and supporting the on-call team across the medical wards. This is a hands-on role requiring confidence in acute assessment and escalation.
Candidates must hold Foundation Year 2 (or equivalent SHO-level) registration with the GMC with a licence to practise. Right to work in the UK, current DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of two professional references are required.
