Grayscale Medical is seeking an FY2-level locum doctor for a General Medicine assignment on 3 North Ward at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This long-term locum covers weekday day shifts (09:00–17:00) through October 2026 at a £50/hr assignment rate.
The position sits within the Endocrinology and Diabetes sub-specialty team in the Medicine and Unscheduled Care directorate. You will be responsible for managing inpatients with a range of general medical and endocrine conditions, including diabetes management, thyroid disorders, and adrenal pathology. Daily duties include ward rounds, patient assessments, requesting and interpreting investigations, liaising with specialty teams, and discharge planning. The ward operates a multidisciplinary model with consultant-led teaching opportunities.
Candidates must hold GMC registration with a licence to practise at FY2 level or above, a valid right to work in the UK, current DBS/AccessNI clearance, and at least two professional references. Experience in acute general medicine or endocrinology is desirable.
