Locum Core Trainee (IMT level) required for weekend cover on the Rheumatology rota at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a long day shift (approximately 09:00 to 21:30) on Saturday 16th November 2026, paying £50/hr assignment rate.
You will provide medical cover on the Rheumatology ward as part of the weekend rota, managing inpatients with rheumatological and general medical conditions. The role involves ward rounds, clerking admissions, managing acute presentations, and liaising with the on-call consultant.
Requirements: IMT or equivalent level experience. Valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, minimum 2 professional references, LD1 competency, and all mandatory training up to date. Minimum 6 months paid UK experience required.
