Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Locum Specialty Trainee (Middle Grade) required for the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a twilight shift from 13:00 to 21:00 on Thursday 5th November 2026, paying £50/hr assignment rate.
You will work as part of the ED middle grade team providing acute emergency care across the Mater's busy Emergency Department. The role involves assessment, management, and treatment of undifferentiated emergency presentations, working alongside consultants, junior doctors, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Requirements: ST3+ or equivalent middle grade experience in Emergency Medicine. Valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and minimum 2 professional references.
