Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Doctor (Middle Grade) in Emergency Medicine for locum shifts at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) Emergency Department, part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple shift slots available on 1 October 2026 from 16:00, at a £60/hr assignment rate.
The RVH Emergency Department is one of the busiest in Northern Ireland, serving as the regional trauma centre. As a middle grade doctor you will manage the assessment and treatment of patients presenting to the ED, lead resuscitation cases, supervise junior trainees, and work alongside the consultant team. The department handles a wide case mix including trauma, acute medicine, paediatric emergencies, and mental health presentations.
Requirements include GMC registration with a licence to practise, middle grade experience in Emergency Medicine (specialty doctor, staff grade, or ST3+ equivalent), right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance. ALS/ATLS certification is desirable.
